As we round the corner to warmer days, what sandals are you looking to purchase?  Personally, I am still on a block heel kick again this year. I am rocking these:

Stuart Weitzman Broadban Ankle Strap sandals

Tom's Poppy Sandals

Tom's Camilla Sandals

Bass Sheila Sunjun's

Wow, this party sounds amazing. I'd love to go dressed 'en femme' just like the way you were dressed with high heeled sandals and painted toes.
Which country are these partys in?

Again, sorry for my delays in posting, things have been really busy and not to mention having the flu.  The party at the end of January was not as impressive as the one right before NYE, but it was a lot of fun.  At the request of my friend, I did crossdress for the occasion, however, there were others who crossdressed too.  I wore a LBD with black ankle strapped heels.  My toenails were polished black and I wore a red wig which has a long ponytail.  When we first walked into the party, no one really paid much attention to us.  When I showed my ID, the girl sitting at the reception table smiled and handed me a lavender wristband which denoted that I was a TG/TS/CD.  My partner in crime was handed a white wristband which denoted her to be part of a couple.  Green was for single men, pink was for single women, and black was for married men.  If you were gay, lesbian or bisexual, you were given a pale blue wristband.  Most everyone was wearing open-toed shoes.  Again, intercourse was frowned upon, but it did occur.

This link isn't working, but I went to look at the ASOS web site, they have some really great sandals. They are all UK size, up to a 10, which unfortunately is not my size range. But if you like videos of people wearing sandals, the site is great.

I like the look of these - classic 'Jesus sandal' look with thick straps. Sold as women's sandals but I see no reason why men can't wear them. Has anyone tried them?

Wow, that sounds like a great experience.   That's cool to even have a female friend that would invite you to go with her.   Are you guys more than just friends?  Does that turn her on when you go "femme".   I'm just curious and not trying to offend you.   I guess I'm just envious that you have a female friend that you can share stuff like that with.   I have not experienced that.

I meant to post this sooner, but I've been busy since the beginning of the new year.  Anyway, we went to the party and it was incredible.  There were over 200 people there and it was held in a swanky older hotel which is currently for sale.  Anyway, to make a long story short, we attended as a couple which was odd because we are not married.  The rules were simple, no meant no and also, no single men were allowed into certain marked areas without an invitation.  There were a couple of people who tested it and found themselves escorted out by security.  The hosts of the party had held these many times and it was a wonderful mix of people.  Every female was wearing open-toed shoes of some sort.  The most popular shoe was the Tory Burch flip flop with the monogram on the top of the foot.  There were even some men wearing them as well.  For the most part, any type of sexual intercourse was frowned upon, but it did happen.  Lots of trampling, foot jobs, foot worship, and even some just casual foot rubs.  There is another party at the end of this month and we received our own specific invitation.  My friend wants me to go en femme, but we have to wait to see about that first.

The original ones were rubber up until the 1990's, and then similar to now but harder wearing material.

You get what you pay for I guess, as the prices are half what the quality older brands used to be.
